Chetak:The Beginning

The first professional build was a Bobber built on an enfield platform named Chetak. Chetak was built around a 2012 royal
enfield standard. The bike was designed to have a handmade Springer front with brass accents all around the bike,
which eventually lead to the name CHETAK.

Chetak had a wide tank which was initially taken from a
yamaha enticer and then widened to give it the Bulk that
was required!

springer front was one hell of a journey, since it required lot of research ,planning and then ofcourse Machining.
springers are notoriously stiff and not very comfortable since the stiffness of the springs lead to transfer of the shocks
due to road profile to the hands of the rider which actually makes it exhausting.

Chetak if you remember was the name of the horse of MAHARANA PRATAP and hence i decided to use an actual 3d logo of a horse
,which i designed in catia and had it 3D printed in ABS, it looked gorgeous and added to the details of the bike.

the Biggest usp of Chetak was the Brassplates that were hand etched to give it the royal look. All the yellow plates seen on the bike is
real 20 GA brass plate and has been meticulously hand etched and polished to give it the sheen.

chetak has smaller wheels as compared to the normal enfield , it runs 15 inches at the rear and 16 in the front!
